Here's a funny thought that just struck me hard in the head.
For years, I took hundreds of photos of myself almost every day. Purrhaps you didn't know that every photo you see of me on my websites was taken by me. I was the model, set designer, costumer, makeup artist, hairdresser, prop mistress, bondage rigger, predicament purrpetrator, lighting tech, and yes, photographer. The autotimer was my dear, dear friend, and allowed me to capture thousands of photographs that would not have been possible had I been reliant on others to do the dirty work for me.
Well that's never been my style anyway... I always do my own dirty work.
Since closing my dungeon Kismet, I've rarely taken any photos of myself except for a few here and there as gratitude for generous slaves who have sent me lovely presents. Not even in my "regular life" (although I have almost no photos of myself in "everyday drag" anyway). When I do try to get back into that groove I find it incredibly difficult - I'm sure that the majority of this tension comes from not having my own studio anymore - but now I have to work so much harder to set the mood and get everything arranged even for a simple few shots of myself in a gorgeous new pair of leather heels that recently showed up on my doorstep. And that's not like me!
I must do something - I must not lose my mojo...
